1.lceland Companions – Popol and Kupa are now ready for free trial (not for sale yet) on the Advanced Server!

Hero specialty: a marksman that fights with his companion wolf

Passive: [Iceland Companions] – Popol always fights side by side with his best partner, Kupa. Every attack dealt by Kupa motivates Popol’s fighting spirit, increasing his ATK Speed, stacking up to 5 times. After leaving combat, Popol will take care of Kupa, restoring its HP over time.

Skill 1: [Bite ’em, Kupa!] Popol orders Kupa to bite the target, dealing Physical Damage and following up with attacks for a short period. Alpha Wolf Form: Kupa strikes ferociously, suppressing the target with multiple bites.

Skill 2: [Kupa, Help!] – Popol summons Kupa to protect him and give him a Shield. Alpha Wolf Form: Kupa darts back to protect his master and knocks nearby enemies Airborne, dealing Physical Damage.

MINECRAFT JAVA UPDATE (UPCOMING): THE NETHER UPDATE

Minecraft’s big Nether update is still on the horizon, but it’s available to play right now in a snapshot 1.16. Below is everything we know about what’s coming and what’s there to try right now. Remember: if you want to play Minecraft snapshots, back up your current worlds. They tend to be unstable.

New biomes

Soulsand Valley
Teeming with skeletons, Soulsand Valley is a spooky region filled with fossilised remains. The sky is thick with ash and the land is bathed in an eerie blue light. An area resting on Soul Sand and Soul Soil, this valley is heavily populated with Basalt pillars.

Warped Forests
A funky fungi forest. Shroomlights illuminate the dark walkways of a forest where Warped Fungi manifest as tall, tree-like structures. Warped Spores hang in the air like unfallen snowflakes as a blue fog shrouds the forest. Surprisingly, this is the safest area in the Nether.

Crimson Forests
Similar to the Warped Forests, Crimson Forests provide the perfect conditions for fungi and Shroomlights to thrive. Crimson Nylium is found everywhere, and Crimson Spores clog the air. Weeping Vines hang low from ceilings and Hoglins are found patrolling their territory.

New enemies

Piglins
Piglin mobs are hostile by default and love collecting gold. In fact, they love gold so much that they won’t attack you if you’re wearing gold armour. Turn up in your best golden ensemble and Piglins will even barter with you. Good luck negotiating with them, though.

Hoglins
Previously referred to as Piglin Beasts, Hoglins are a mysterious species. Very little is known about them, other than the fact that they have floppy ears and aren’t capable of doing much, yet. Their huge tusks make them look threatening, but oddly sweet.

Netherite ore

Netherite is a new high level ore that’s even stronger than diamond. You can upgrade your diamond tools with it, but acquiring some is a little more complicated than slapping a block with a pickaxe.

Here’s how to craft with Netherite

  • Head to the lower depths of the Nether.
  • Use a Blast Furnace to transform the material into Netherite Scrap.
  • Add 4 Gold Ingots and 4 Netherite Scrap to a crafting table to craft a Netherite Ingot.

New blocks

The Nether update is also bringing a bunch of new blocks to spruce up your nether home and further complicate redstone contraptions.

  • Target blocks: hit with an arrow to send out a redstone signal.
  • Crimson Stems and Warped Stems: wood-like materials.
  • Basalt blocks: similar to pillars and can be placed in any direction.
  • Crimson Nylium and Warped Nylium: ground surface blocks. Nylium can be spread by using bone meal on Netherrack.
  • Nether Sprouts, Crimson Roots and Warped Roots: vegetation blocks.
  • Crimson Fungi and Warped Fungi: can be grown using bone meal.
  • Weeping Vines: vines grow from the bottom of the block.
  • Shroomlights: a source of natural light.
  • Soul Soil: when fire touches this soil the flames turn blue.
  • Warped Warts: decorative blocks.

MINECRAFT JAVA UPDATE: 1.15.2 PATCH NOTES

Patch 1.15.2 has a bit more meat on the bones than 15.1. We’ve got small changes to how bees bee-have when using a silk touch tool and extensive changes to hive spawn rates in certain biomes. Bees are still relatively rare, so get to hunting! See the official patch notes page here.

  • Bees no longer anger when a nearby nest/hive is destroyed using a silk touch tool
  • Added doPatrolSpawning and doTraderSpawning game rules that control spawning of patrols and wandering traders, respectively
  • Added gui_light option in block models to allow controlling light when rendering model as item in GUI
  • Controls light when rendering block model inside slot. If set to side, model will be rendered like block. If set to front,  model is shaded like flat item
  • Any birch or oak sapling grown near a flower within 2 blocks distance on the same y-level has a 5% chance of having a bee nest
  • Bee Nests now have a 2% chance of spawning in Flower Forests
  • Bee Nests now have a 0.2% chance of spawning in Forest, Wooded Hills, Birch Forest, Tall Birch Forest, Birch Forest Hills, and Tall Birch Hills biomes
  • Fixed bugs
